Celebrate the season with a fun Halloween-themed mixer! We will paint pumpkins, watch a seasonal movie and/or listen to some seasonal music, and enjoy some snacks. 
For special needs teens and adults ages 16+. Caregivers are welcome and do not need to register. 
Presented in partnership with the Mayor's Wellness Campaign.

Who was Annis Boudinot Stockton? Mrs. Stockton was the wife and mother-in-law of two Signers of the Declaration of Independence but she was a patriot in her own right who gained renown as a prolific, patriotic poet. Join Alisa Dupuy for a theatrical performance describing Annis’ life. Her prominent family in Princeton gave her social stature. Historians trace her first poem to 1753, shortly before she wed attorney Richard Stockton, namesake of Stockton University. Richard’s decision to oppose the British led to his capture, which inspired Annis to produce passionate, pro-independence poetry and to raise funds for the Continental Army. 
Presenter: Alisa Dupuy, a former educator, is the owner of Ladies of History dedicated to making history fun, exciting and memorable, in addition to highlighting the contributions that women have made to history.

Join other students in grades 9-12 for impactful community service projects, such as creating uplifting mental health pocket notes, decorating bookmarks, and assembling treat bags for children in transitional housing. Participants will also help color festive placemats for mobile meal services and craft handmade holiday cards to thank first responders.
