For the past 12 years, the Lucia Bocchino Fund for Promising Young Artists has worked with the Somerset Hills YMCA in Basking Ridge, NJ in order to hold our annual Promising Young Artists exhibition and contest. However, due to the obvious obstacles caused by COVID-19, the YMCA is unable to host this annual event. Nonetheless, we are hoping that everyone is making the most out of this time by creating art and honoring wonderful women! Please submit your form and artwork by May 1, 2020.
The inaugural Lucia Bocchino Fund for Promising Young Artists Exhibition took place in 2008. Since the first exhibition, the Fund has exhibited the work of over one thousand promising young artists. Over the years, the Fund has also awarded contest participants with a variety of awards and ribbons intended to encourage young artists to follow their dreams and nurture their artistic talents.
