Can Exploring Central New Jersey Open Houses Lead You To Your New Home?

The prevalence of sophisticated online marketing (staging, professional photography and virtual tours, social media marketing, and more) has sellers and home buyers wondering whether open houses truly are a valuable tool for buyers searching for their new home. A National Association of Realtors survey of last year’s buyers shows that while 45% did visit open houses, only 10% said they first learned about the home they later bought via signs or open houses. Meanwhile, 42% reported first spotting the home they bought online. It’s simply not an open-and-shut case! NAR spokesman Walter Molony points out, “with nearly half of buyers attending an open house, they are hardly a waste of time.” In addition, there are some homes that are just too unique to market without the benefit of an open house. Too, there are those homes where MLS photos can’t adequately showcase appealing features, dramatic floor plans, or truly spectacular locations. Open Houses are most valuable when conducted by a knowledgeable local real estate associate. This weekend local specialist Donna De Pasquale, Realtor Associate with Coldwell Banker Bedminster is hosting a public Open House at 28 Princeton Court in The Hills. Stop in on Sunday, March 2nd, 1:30 to 4:30 to experience this luxury townhome. http://www.zillow.com/homedetails/28-Princeton-Ct-Basking-Ridge-NJ-07920...
