Cat, Dog Licenses Need To Be Renewed For Basking Ridge Residents
Bernards Township is reminding residents to renew their dogs, cats licenses for 2018. All dog and cat licenses expire on Jan. 31 each year.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Bernards Township is reminding residents to renew their dogs and cats licenses for 2018. All dog and cat licenses expire on Jan. 31 of each year.

In order for a license to be issued, the owner must present proof that a licensed veterinarian has vaccinated the dog / cat against rabies and that the duration of immunity from that vaccination fully extends through 10 months of the 12-month licensing period. An exemption to the rabies inoculation requirement shall be granted if the owner presents written certification from a licensed veterinarian that the dog/cat cannot be vaccinated due to a medical condition or course of therapy.
