Charter Day Returns After 2 Year COVID Hiatus In Basking Ridge
Charter Day on May 21 will feature a street fair, entertainment, amusement rides and games, art exhibit, historical displays, and more.
BASKING RIDGE, NJ — After two straight years of cancellations due to the coronavirus pandemic, Bernards Township's Charter Day is finally back for 2022.
The event, coordinated by the Department of Parks & Recreation, will be held on May 21 from noon to 6 p.m. in the Downtown Basking Ridge area.
Charter Day is an annual event that celebrates the history and 1760 Charter of Bernards Township and showcases community groups, businesses and talent.

The event features a street fair; entertainment including musical and dance performances, demonstrations, strolling magicians; a student art exhibit and the Essence of Bernards photography exhibit; historical displays at the Brick Academy; and amusement rides and games for children of all ages.
