BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Every year on Dec. 24 for the past 98 years, residents, families, friends, and guests in Basking Ridge gather to sing Christmas carols, wish good tidings, before moving on to their personal family traditions.

This year will be the same with a Christmas Eve Town Caroling event on Dec. 24 starting promptly at 7 p.m. on what's known as "The Green."

Church bells begin ringing at about 6:45 p.m. when 10 songs are sung and the caroling ends at about 7:25 p.m. again with a round of ringing church bells.
