"Close Encounters with Birds of Prey" Live Bird Event at the Bernards Township Library on Saturday, January 30

Five live raptors including a hawk and an eagle will visit the Bernards Township Library on Saturday, January 30 at 10:30am.

Close Encounters with Birds of Prey brings five live raptors, including a hawk and an eagle from the Delaware Valley Raptor Center, to the Bernards Township Library on Saturday, January 30 at 10:30am. Learn about predator/prey relationships, wildlife rehabilitation, specific adaptations of the birds present, and various issues facing wildlife today. No registration required. The Delaware Valley Raptor Center, located in Milford, PA, is a private, not-for-profit, rehabilitation organization dedicated to the rehabilitation and conservation of birds of prey (hawks, eagles, owls, falcons, and vultures). DVRC provides humane professional care for orphaned, ill, and injured raptors so they can return to the wild. Thanks to the Friends of the Bernards Township Library for sponsoring this event.
