Deadline For Party Affiliation Change Coming Up In Somerset County

SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ— The deadline to change your party affiliation before the June 6 primary is fast approaching. This deadline only applies to voters currently registered with a party who are looking to make a switch; if you are currently an independent voter, you have until the primary to declare a party.

All party changes must be submitted 55 days before a primary, making April 12 the last day to switch your party. You can also switch to "unaffiliated" if you want.
