Dedicate a Bench, Tree in Bernards Township's Parks

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Honor the memory of a relative, friend or member of your organization or commemorate a milestone or special event or even recognize a volunteer or employee service by dedicated a tree or bench in Bernards Township.

Trees will be planted and benches will be located in various Bernards Township parks. You may list a preferred location where you would like your tree or bench placed, however the exact location is at the discretion of the Township.

Trees will be planted in October and you will receive a notification letter with the date and time of planting so you may be present if you wish. Benches are installed in April and you will be notified of its location so that you may enjoy it after it has been installed.

A plaque, located at Town Hall outside the Parks & Recreation service window, displays the names of all individuals/organizations for which trees have been planted, including the occasion and year of planting. A plaque is installed on each bench, engraved with the text provided.

The cost is $200 per Tree Order by June 30 for planting the following October and $500 per Bench Order by Oct. 31 for installation the following April.
