Deer Strike Causes Delays On ​Morris & Essex Train Line

The deer was hit on Tuesday in Bernardsville, according to NJ Transit.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — A deer hit by a train in Bernardsville is causing delays to the Morris & Essex line on Tuesday afternoon.

NJ Transit announced the Morris & Essex train #419, with a 2:12 p.m. arrival into Gladstone, is up to 20 minutes late due to an earlier deer strike near Bernardsville.
