Dental Care Basking Ridge donates 875 lbs of candy!

Each year Dental Care Basking Ridge reaches out to the community to collect candy for the soldiers over seas. This year we partnered with Treats for Troops and collected a record breaking amount of candy, 875 pounds! We contacted the local schools, our patients and the community and gave the kids $1 per pound to donate their candy. This prevents the kids of Basking Ridge and beyond from getting cavities and puts a few bucks in their pockets! Dental Care Basking Ridge then ships the candy along with toothbrushes, floss, toothpaste and cards from the kids to Treats for Troops and they use the candy as packing material to ship other necessities to the soldiers!
