Drive-Thru Coronavirus Testing Available In Basking Ridge

The Bernards Township Health Department will hold drive-thru tests Dec. 3.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — The Bernards Township Health Department will conduct drive-thru coronavirus tests Dec. 3 in Basking Ridge. Testing will take place from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Pleasant Valley Park (3405 Valley Rd.).

Patients must schedule an appointment online. All participants must remain in their vehicles with a face covering on during registration and testing. They must also present a state-issued photo ID or driver's license and their medical insurance cards for identification.

With health insurance, there is no cost. Only diagnostic services covered by each provider will be performed.

"Testing is fast, safe, and efficient and takes approximately 5-10 minutes and is available for those age 5 through adults," the press release from the health department said. "Results of the lab test will be delivered by phone or text in a timely manner and a hard copy will be mailed to the address given. WellCare will provide client with information on how the result will be sent."
