Election Day 2016: Tight Presidential Race In Basking Ridge
Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump came within 38 votes of each other in Bernards Township

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Taking a deeper look at the voter turnout in Bernards Township it shows that voters were equally passionate for each candidate.
A total of 14,314 votes were cast out of the 20,283 registered voters in town, which accounted to 70.57%.
Bernards Township voters turned down question one with 2,697 yes votes and 10,133 no votes. Yet approved question two with 7,527 yes votes and 5,113 no votes.

In the Presidential election, Bernards Township favored Clinton over Trump by a smidgen.
Clinton received 6,734 votes while Trump got 6,696 followed by Johnson with 337 votes.
