Election Day In Basking Ridge 2021: When, Where To Vote

The general election is Tuesday, Nov. 2. Check out our voter guide before you cast your ballot.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Nov. 2 is the general election and there are hotly contested races for both the township council and board of education.

In Basking Ridge there are four ways to vote: at a polling location, using a secure dropbox, mailing your ballot back or hand-delivering it to your local board of elections.

Located in front of the Municipal Building, 1 Miller Lane, Basking Ridge.

The boxes are all outside and under surveillance 24/7. They resemble a USPS Blue Mailbox, but are Red, White & Blue and display "Somerset County – Official Ballot Drop Box."

The Vote-By-Mail ballots (VBMs) will be picked up on a daily basis and brought to the Board of Elections. All security measures will be followed when collecting and transporting the VBMs, officials said.
