Dog Days Competition at Lord Stirling Stables

The Friends of Lord Stirling Stable will host their Fifteenth Annual “Dog Days” on the grounds of Lord Stirling Stable beginning at 3 p.m. On-site registration begins at 2 p.m.

Canines of all shapes and sizes are invited along with their human companions to take part in a fun filled afternoon of contests and events. Classes include Biscuit Toss and Catch; Pet/Owner Look Alike; Biscuit Race; Most Luxurious Tail; Best Trick; Best Dressed (Costume); Smallest, Largest, and Most Medium; Best Bark; and Most Obedient. Following the event there will be a walk along the equestrian trails.

The event will take place in the large indoor ring and spectators are invited to watch from a climate-controlled viewing area or in the ring.

Proceeds from the event will help fund activities and programs at Lord Stirling Stable.
