February Programs at the Farmstead
A lecture and an art show at this community landmark.

The Farmstead Arts Center is located on the picturesque Kennedy Martin Stelle Farmstead historic site on King George Road.
This month the Farmstead is hosting two free admission programs. Firstly, the Ridge High School art show "The Midas Touch," which displays pieces reflecting students' attitudes towards wealth, will be up through the 25th. There is also a lecture presented by Jim DelGiudice on the 25th. "Somerset Tech: Stories of Personalities and Technologies From Somerset County" will delve into some of the little-known history and personalities which have made Somerset such a unique county in terms of technological innovation.
The Farmstead always has one program or another running on Sundays - an art show, a concert, a lecture, or something else. Sunday gallery hours are from 1 to 4. However, the gorgeous outside area which runs along the Passaic River is open to the public at all times - perfect for a stroll or a picnic.
