Fire Causes Roof Collapse, Residents Displaced At Basking Ridge Condo Building

A two-alarm fire that broke out at an apartment building in the Basking Ridge Monday displaced residents, caused a rood collapse.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — A two-alarm fire broke out at a 20-unit condo building at Society Hill in the Basking Ridge section of Bernards Township, according to emergency officials.

Fire fighters rescued a cat at the scene, according to nj.com.

The heavy fire was being reported at the multi-family condo unit on Woodward Lane, according to Fire & EMS Alerts of Somerset County.
