As one of their final events at Oak Street School, the outgoing fifth grade class gifted a new flag to the school.
A group of local veterans was on hand to help retire the old flag and raise the new one at a ceremony on Thursday, June 19. Several students participated in the folding of the retired flag, reading aloud the symbols of the folds.
