Flu Clinic Being Held Tuesday In Basking Ridge

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — The Bernards Township Health Department will offer a flu shot clinic on Tuesday, Dec. 11 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

All vaccine used at the BTHD clinics is quadrivalent which means that it protects against four viruses: two influenza A viruses and two influenza B viruses. All clinics are open to those 4 years old through adults and appointments are not required.

The cost of the flu shot is $25 for residents and $35 for non-residents. There is no charge for those with a valid Medicare Part B card. Participants should consult with their doctor before receiving the flu vaccine. Clinical services are provided by the Visiting Nurse Association of Somerset Hills. The Bernards Township Health Department is the contractual health agency serving Bernards Township, Bernardsville Borough, Chester Borough, Long Hill Township, Mendham Borough, and Peapack and Gladstone Borough.
