Residents thirsty for their morning coffee can grab a reusable travel mug and head over to the Starbucks on Martinsville Road for a free cup of coffee today.
The offer lasts all day, and is part of Starbuck's "The Big Picture" green project, but also coincides with a number of promotional offers aimed at softening the blow of tax day.
If you would rather pay for the coffee but get a free pastry, Dunkin' Donuts (three locations in town: 558 Allen Road, 413 King George Road and 450 South Finley Ave) is offering a free donut with the purchase of any sized cup of coffee today.

Subway restaurants (closest located at 28 Lyons Mall) are also offering up free sweets on tax day, offering a free cookie to anyone who walks in the store during regular business hours.
