Another active open house schedule on a prime spring weekend with low interest rates.
Conventional wisdom used to be that the number of houses for sale rose in the springtime — and so did interest rates.
But this year that formula has switched — yes, there is a very active market, as evidenced by this Sunday's busy open house schedule. But interest rates have stayed at historic lows, even dipping at some points.
