Garden Discovery Tours with EEC Naturalists
Tours to the regions most interesting locations

Adults are invited to join the Naturalists of the Somerset County Park Commission Environmental Education Center (EEC) on a series of Garden Discovery Tours to some of the area’s most interesting destinations. All trips will depart from the EEC at 190 Lord Stirling Road in Basking Ridge, New Jersey.
On Tuesday, September 19, 2017 from 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. the Discovery Tour will venture to Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve, 134 acres featuring over 800 species of native plants. A Preserve Naturalist will provide an explanation of the various species of plants. Fee is $40 per adult and $30 per senior.

fields, hills, and woodlands. Among the colorful fall foliage back drop, visitors will tour the collection of more than 100 sculptures created by acclaimed artists. Registration begins Wednesday, September 13, 2017. Fee is $60 per adult and $50 per senior.
On Thursday, December 7, 2017 the Tour will celebrate the holiday season with a day at Holiday Time Longwood Gardens, combining horticulture, architecture, theater, and music into a unique holiday experience. Visitors will enjoy gardens twinkling with decorative lights, a conservatory of holiday plants and colors, and fountains moving in time to carillon. Registration begins September 13, 2017. Fee is $65 per adult and$55 per senior.
