Here's How To Get Rid Of Your Christmas Tree In Basking Ridge
The township announced instructions for how to properly dispose of your tree this year.
BASKING RIDGE, NJ — With Christmas now behind us, it's about time to get rid of the tree.
In Basking Ridge, the Department of Public Works chips all the trees and uses them for the dog park and park trails. Any excess goes to a DPW maintained mulch pile at Pill Hill which is free for all residents of the township.
Trees must be free of lights, ornaments, and any metal/wiring. Wreaths and roping are
not accepted.
