Home Burglary In Basking Ridge, Police Seek Help From Public
Bernards Township Police are asking the public for any camera footage or information regarding a recent home burglary.
BASKING RIDGE, NJ — A home burglary in the Township has prompted police to ask the public for help on Monday.
Bernards Township Detectives are investigating a residential burglary that happened on Aug. 21 on Fieldstone Drive at around 8:45 p.m.
Anyone who saw any suspicious activity or has camera footage of possible suspects and/or a suspect vehicle in the area of Fieldstone Drive, they are asked to contact Detective John Mulhall at jmulhall@bernardspd.org or call 908-204-3058.

Police offered the following tips to reduce the chance a burglar will target your home:
- Lock your home at all times. Thieves will often target unlocked homes
- Put lights and televisions on timers or delay switches when not at home
- Keep records/photos of valuable possessions. Retain make, model, and serial numbers of valuable electronics
- Do not leave trash containers, newspapers, or mail uncollected
- If possible, leave a vehicle or vehicles in the driveway
- Consider a home security or camera system
