Hurricane Harvey Donations Being Collected In Basking Ridge

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — The Bernards Township Regional Chamber of Commerce will be collecting items on Saturday to directly assist those affected by Hurricane Harvey.

The collection will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. in the center of Basking Ridge (look for the Chamber banner and drop off tables in the Ridge Center).

Only the following items can be accepted:

• Bottled water
• Pet Food (dog and cat) unopened only
• Baby Supplies (food, diapers, wipes) unopened only
• Hygiene Products (soap, shampoo, anti-bacterial items, tooth brushes, tooth paste, combs, hair brushes, new towels)
• Target and Home Depot Gift Cards (in any denomination)
• Cleaning Items (paper towels, mops, cleaners, bleach, laundry soaps, brushes, plastic gloves, buckets, brooms, trash bags) (unopened and new items only)
• Bug Repellent
• Packing Boxes and Packing Tape

Once loaded, the truck will be rolling directly to Houston, Texas.
