Increased Police Presence At Basking Ridge, Far Hills Train Stations
Anyone should report any suspicious packages, or any suspicious activity, at either station by calling police

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Bernards Township and Far Hills police departments have increased patrols at the three train stations nearby after five explosive devices were found at a train station in Elizabeth overnight.
"Each of our two Train Stations have had and will continue to have increased patrols which started overnight," Bernards Township Police Department Brian Bobowicz said.
Far Hills Police Chief Michael DeCarolis also confirmed increased patrols at the Far Hills Station

The Basking Ridge Train Station and the Lyons Train Station in Bernards Township and the Far Hills Train Station are located along the Gladstone Line which is part of the Morris & Essex Lines.
The Elizabeth incident happened just two days after a pipe bomb exploded in a trash can at a charity 5K run in Seaside Heights, and an explosion that injured 29 people in the Chelsea section of Manhattan.
