Dear Editor,

Jennifer has extensive and current township service and leadership on various Bernards Township Boards. She has served nearly a decade on Board of Health and is its current Vice President. Jennifer has also served 3 years on the Planning Board and is its current Vice Chair. She is also actively involved in Girl Scouts, Middle School Ski Club, and Girls on the Run.

Jennifer graduated with distinction from Purdue University with a B.S. in Pharmacy. She also has an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. On a professional level, she has held and currently holds a senior executive position in the pharmaceutical industry. In her corporate work setting, she has been recognized for her ability to make important strategic and financial decisions and has received multiple professional awards for her work performance as well as recognition for developing and mentoring others. Most recently, Jennifer was recognized by the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy as Preceptor of the year 2019-2020 for recognition of exemplary teaching and high standards of pharmacy practice.

As a Bernards Township Committeewoman, Jennifer would apply her experience and leadership skills to ensure that Bernards Township remains known for its outstanding quality of life.

Andrew McNally is likewise exceptionally well qualified to serve on the Bernards Township Committee. Andrew is a graduate of Boston College with a B.A. in Economics and has a law degree from Seton Hall Law School where he served on the Seton Hall Law Review and graduated magna cum laude. Andrew has been a licensed attorney for 15 years and after graduating from law school, worked as a litigator at two prestigious law firms in New Jersey. In 2013, Andrew joined the administration of then-Governor Chris Christie, where he served until 2018. During his time in government, Andrew served as Senior Deputy Chief Counsel to the Governor and Chief Counsel to the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities.

Since leaving state government service, Andrew has continued to leverage and grow his public utilities experience by serving as a regulatory attorney for an electric utility. Today, he is the Government Affairs Director for a utility company.

Andrew’s public service and volunteering experience includes serving on the Township Committee, Planning Board, Library Board of Trustees, Sewerage Authority, Somerset County Solid Waste Advisory Council, and as Township Liaison to the Basking Ridge Fire Company. He has also served on the Raritan Valley Community College Board of Trustees, New Jersey Clean Air Council, Garden State Preservation Trust, and the Township Environmental Commission.

It is clear that both Jennifer Asay and Andrew McNally would be exceptional members of the Bernards Township Committee and would serve our community well.
