Dear Editor,

I am a resident of Bernards Township since 2016 and my family loves what this community has to offer. Our family was drawn to Bernards Township by its highly-rated school system, unique charm, safe neighborhood, and the community spirit of “small-town” U.S. We feel very fortunate to live in a community where people value education and neighbors help neighbors. We are proudly raising our children in this beautiful and safe community.
I believe that it is crucial to have trustworthy township committee members to keep our Bernards Township safe and attractive to newcomers. We need committee members who care and listen to the needs of the people of Bernards Township. Hence, I will vote for Jennifer Asay and Andrew McNally as exceptional candidates to be the next Bernards Township Committee. I believe that these excellent candidates are running for the committee because they care and they want to keep our township safe and keep the “small-town” community spirit. Further, they want to make sure that the will of the people of Bernards Township be heard.

I know Andrew because our children go to the same school and they are in the same class. We had a lot of interaction and I got to know him well. He is a great father, a caring Bernard’s resident who cares deeply about our community. He is an accomplished professional lawyer and volunteered in different capacities at Bernards Township and Raritan Valley Community College in Branchburg. I believe that Andrew is an excellent candidate to represent Bernards Township Committee.
I learned to know Jennifer through different meetings and supported her vision and leadership. She has volunteered in several committees at Bernards Township while professionally; she has worked in a variety of cross-functional, multi-therapeutic leadership roles because of her passion to help patients. She is an accomplished professional who is also a caring mother who is involved in her children’s activities. Further, her leadership skills have earned her recognition as top women’s leadership in several establishments such as NJ Women’s Network to Network Consortium, Mallinckrodt Women in Business, Women Inspiring Sanofi Excellence North America, and Sanofi Global Gender Balance Network.
Given the diversity of the candidates’ backgrounds, outstanding professional accomplishments, the breadth of leadership, and their dedication to the community at Bernards Township, I am endorsing Jen Asay and Andrew McNally for the upcoming committee members of Bernards Township. We need strong leaders who have strong principles and care about our community. Please vote for Jen Asay & Andrew McNally on November 2.
