Liberty Corner Firefighter Hopes To Save Lives With New Invention

An eight year veteran of the Liberty Corner Fire Company has patented an idea with his brother that he believes will save the lives of those involved in serious car accidents.

David Smart coined the name “Rescue Reliance” for the hand held computer that would instantly provide first responders with diagrams of vehicles involved in a crash, showing where the locations of airbags, batteries, fuel tanks, etc. are, according to The Bernardsville News.
