Local ArtSee artist, Anjali Shalit just announced the opening of her online shop "ManyCultures" (all one word) on etsy.com. "ManyCultures" combines elements from around the world and is currently offering a number of wearable art necklaces, a bracelet, and unusual earrings made from Czech glass buttons. There is also a wonderful 1940's DuBarry evening gown. Anjali is a recipient of the Peter's Valley Emerging Artist scholarship award and was chosen by the Smithsonian and Newark Museum to show her work at the Newark Museum's 100th anniversary celebration of technical and decorative arts. She will be participating in the ARTsee Open Studio Tour in Bernardsville/Basking Ridge, on Oct. 4-5, 2014. Please check back this fall for tour details and studio map, or go to ARTseeTOUR.com
