Marcelo, Lucy, Benny Are Basking Ridge's Pet Of The Week

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Meet Marcelo, Lucy and Benny! They have been chosen as Basking Ridge Patch's Pet Of The Week.

"Marcelo, Lucy, and Benny share the dog food at their Homestead Village section of Basking Ridge home [mostly] equally.

Marcelo and Benny are three year old Mini-Daschund males and Lucy is a one year old Havanese female.

Lucy loves to run but her brothers prefer to lie in the sun, so she needs to resort to nips here and there to get them motivated enough to go after her.

But for Lucy, it is never enough. The Doxie twins (real litter mates) give up soon because Lucy can run like the wind with quick smiling glances behind her at her much slower brothers.

But all is forgiven at nap time."
