Team Matarante, also known as the Bombers, won the first ever Collegiate League (ages 9-10) Basking Ridge Little League championship on June 27.
A tournament was held for the first time in the age division, and Coach Matarante's boys finished first out of four teams. The bombers played on Friday, June 26 and a double-header on Saturday, beating Team Carey 17-15 in the finals.
