Mayor To Discuss Updates On Quarry At BRBA Meeting
Bernards Township Mayor John Carpenter will be offering an update on the Millington Quarry property and other town happenings on Feb. 13.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Bernards Township Mayor John Carpenter will be offering an update on the Millington Quarry property and other township happenings during the next Basking Ridge Business Alliance meeting.
The proposed Draft Quarry Redevelopment Concept Plan was rejected in its entirety by the township committee during the Jan. 24 meeting. They also revoked the designation of the Millington Quarry property as a non-condemnation redevelopment area. (See Related: Basking Ridge Rejects Quarry Plan)
Both votes came after much backlash from community members including a resident-formed group called Friends of Stop the Quarry Plan or STQP.
