Meal Train Started For Basking Ridge Family Coping With Cancer Diagnosis
"Joey's Army" has rallied around Joey Ricciardi and his 3-year-old brother after their mom was diagnosed with stage 4 cervical cancer.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — A meal train has been set up to help a Basking Ridge family as they cope with a stage 4 cervical cancer diagnosis.
A group called "Joey's Army" has rallied around Joey Ricciardi who graduated from Ridge in 2022 and is a full-time college student.Joey is also taking care of his 3-year-old brother and mother who is battling cancer.
"Joey's Army" set up the meal train to help provide food to the family.

"Okay, Basking Ridge people - we know what to do! When one of us is in need, the rest of us step up! Let's help this young man in our town," wrote the group.
The meal train asks neighbors to sign up to provide a meal or offer gift cards to local restaurants, ice cream shops, or CVS for the family. To sign up click here.

Joey had also previously launched a GoFundMe campaign last month to seek support and help.
Funds raised would be used to cover costs of daily living such as meeting basic needs including rent, utilities, groceries, and transportation.
