Township Administrator Pat Monaco noted the longevity of many of the employees being recognized.

"You'll see years of 30, 25, 20 years, but what struck me is that half of this list are five years. So we're retaining some young people, some new people, which is a good thing for the township," said Monaco.

Mayor Ana Duarte McCarthy said, "Along the line of recognition, as Pat shared, we have 24 township employees being recognized for years of service, from Dennis Bettler, who has achieved 30 years, to 11 colleagues who have achieved five years. And we congratulate all of them on their anniversaries."

Committeewoman Jennifer Asay called out Bettler as well, noting that business owners know him by name.

"You know what people say about you when you're not in the room. He's amazing. 30 years and many others that are on this list, you wouldn't know their longevity of tenure in terms of their passion for their job," said Asay.
