The Store Restaurant To Get New Owner
The Store, located on 55 S. Finley Avenue is currently in the process of being sold to the owner of the Tewksbury Inn of Oldwick.
A prominent feature of Basking Ridge's historic downtown, The Store is being sold to Mark Marrazza of Bridgwater Township.
Originally called the Washington Inn, Jack Welch and Jeffrey Beers bought the restaurant in 1972.
Welch and Beers will remain leading businessman in the area as they established Growth Restaurants which they run with their business partner Jim Finnegan.
