New President, 2 New Members Join Bernards Township School Board

The Bernards Township Board of Education held its 2025 Reorganization meeting on Monday night.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — A new president was chosen to lead the Bernards Township Board of Education and two new members joined the Board at the reorganization meeting on Monday.

Incumbent Robin McKeon along with Michael Talbot and Brett Omelianuk were sworn in to serve the Board. McKeon, Talbot and Omelianukwere elected in the November election over Yijia Liu and Pankhoori Agarwal Gupta.

At the meeting, Jennifer White was once again chosen to serve as Board President. Most of the Board members voted in favor with Keith Molinari and Csilla Csipak abstaining.

"Thank you very much. I am happy to step into this role. Welcome to our new board members," said White.

McKeon was chosen to serve as Vice President with Molinari, Csipak, and Nimish Amin abstaining.

As far as appointed Board Committees, White asked Board members to email her a list of their preferred committees to serve.

The Board is also looking to finalize its goals in February.

The next Board of Education meeting will be held on Monday, Jan. 27 at 7 p.m. at Ridge High School Cafeteria. There is also a BT Connect Meeting: Technically Speaking Session 3 - AI in Education set for Jan. 22 in the Ridge High School Cafeteria.
