New StoryWalk Installed At Pleasant Valley Park In Basking Ridge
Participants can take a walk in the park and read the children's book "Maisy Goes on a Nature Walk."
BASKING RIDGE, NJ — The next installation of the StoryWalk® at PleasantValley Park in Basking Ridge has been unveiled by the Bernards Township Library.
The StoryWalk® project, held in conjunction with Bernards Township Parks, is an innovative way for families to enjoy stories in the great outdoors.
Participants can take a walk in the park and read the children’s book "Maisy Goes on a Nature Walk," written and illustrated by Lucy Cousins. Pages from the book are attached to signs along a path, and questions are posted to stimulate discussion and observation.

To visit the StoryWalk® park in the lot next to the tennis courts and walk toward the pond to find the first stop.
The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT. and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. StoryWalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ferguson.

This project, funded by The Friends of Bernards Township Library, makes for a family fun outing exercising one’s mind and body. Pleasant Valley Park is located at 3405 Valley Rd., Basking Ridge.
