New Tutoring Firm To Open In Basking Ridge

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — As the first day of school approaches for Bernards Township, a new tutoring firm is prepping for its opening of its newest location in Basking Ridge.

Jackson Education will host a grand opening on Saturday, Sept. 22 at 6 p.m. at its third location at 47 S. Finley Ave. in Basking Ridge. The other two locations are in Denville and Upper Montclair.

Owner Walker Jackson, a long-time Advanced Placement English high school teacher in Kinnelon, started his tutoring firm after he saw that there were a few great teachers and not enough room for all of the hard-working students t get into their respective classes.

He began his concept with a question: “what if?”

"More specifically, what if there was a place where all of the best teachers worked under one roof? What if parents could bypass the system entirely and hire those teachers directly? Jackson Education is the answer to that question, according to Jackson Education's website.

Jackson Education offers a number of services including private tutoring, SAT/ACT prep, college advising and more.
