Nominations Accepted For Land Development & Planning Awards In Basking Ridge

The deadline for nominations is Tuesday, March 31.

Freeholder Deputy Director Sara Sooy is pleased to announce that the Somerset County Planning Board is accepting nominations for its 37th Annual Land Development and Planning Awards program. The deadline for nominations is Tuesday, March 31.

“I encourage people to nominate recipients for this year’s awards,” said Freeholder Deputy Director Sooy, planning liaison. “We believe that developers who exemplify superior site design and address contemporary planning issues through their execution of outstanding plans, projects and municipal planning efforts, greatly enhance the character of the municipalities in Somerset County and should be recognized for their contribution to our area’s growth and expansion.”

Nominations are being sought for the following categories: residential, commercial, industrial adaptive use, public/institutional, excellence in planning and green building design, renewable energy/energy conservation, resiliency and sustainability.

Awards will be presented at the Somerset County Planning Board’s annual awards ceremony in January.
