Pauline L. (Pat) Lord, 94, passed away on Feb. 2, 2014 after a brief illness.
She was a resident of Pompano Beach, FL and Windham, ME. Pat, as many of her friends called her, is formerly of Madison, Bernardsville and Harding Township and was born in Pennsylvania.
She is survived by her son, Donald J. Lord with whom she lived and her brother David M. Landis (Barbara) of Medford, NJ along with several nieces, nephews and many dear and beloved friends. Pat was predeceased by her husband Donald S. Lord and her beloved daughter Sandra J. Lord.
Pat was a loving wife and mother, a gifted cook, homemaker and a member of the Basking Ridge Presbyterian Church. She was active in many charitable service organizations including The Thursday Morning Club, Bonafides of Somerset Hills and the Morristown Memorial Hospital Womens Association.
She had volunteered at Lyons VA hospital and was a member of the Livingston Chapter of AARP. She was a longtime supporter and believer in the work of St. Jude and Shriners Childrens Hospitals.
A memorial service at the church will be scheduled in the spring.
