Organic Sourdough, Sweet Shop To Join Basking Ridge Coffee Bar

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — New changes are coming to the family-owned Barrister Coffee House in Basking Ridge.

"We’re excited to share the next chapter of our space. The @thebakernj is opening their second location here, and Barrister will continue roasting and providing all the coffee you know and love," according to Barrister Coffee House.

The Baker, an organic sourdough and sweet shop in Madison, will be opening in the shop at 96 S Finley Ave.

Barrister's roastery is moving upstairs in the shop, where they will continue to roast and directly provide all of their coffee, now paired with The Baker's organic baked goods.

The decision to partner together was a no brainer.

"We ask, why not? In-house roasted coffee plus thoughtfully made, organic baked good, bringing two crafts under one roof with an unwavering commitment to the customer service you've come to expect at The Baker and Barrister," according to Barrister.

Barrister will remain open through Tuesday and then temporarily close for renovations. Reopening is anticipated for early- to mid-February.
