Police Investigating Burglary at Basking Ridge Home
The residential burglary occurred between 8 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Bernards Township Police are investigating a burglary to an unoccupied home on Whitenack Road on Tuesday.
The residential burglary occurred between 8 a.m. and 4:45 p.m., according to police.
Anyone who observed any suspicious activity during this time frame is asked to contact Detective Brian Fallon at 908-204-3045.

"The police rely on our residents to be our eyes and ears. Descriptions of people and vehicles including license plates could prove important," police reported.

- Lock your home at all times. Thieves will often target unlocked homes.
- Put lights and televisions on timers or delay switch when not home.
- Keep records/photos of valuable possessions. Retain make, model and serial numbers of valuable electronics.
- Do not leave trash containers, newspapers or mail uncollected.
- If possible leave a vehicle or vehicles in the driveway.
