President Trump Cancels Bedminster Weekend Plans

Trump may not be visiting this weekend but he is still expected to come to Bedminster next weekend for a campaign fundraiser on June 13.

BEDMINSTER, NJ — President Donald Trump has canceled plans to visit his golf club in Bedminster for the weekend.

Trump had been expected to arrive in Bedminster on Friday and stay through Sunday at the Trump National Golf Club off Lamington Road.

Instead Trump will be flying to Maine to participate in a round-table on supporting America’s commercial fishermen and then visit a medical equipment manufacturer before flying back to the White House on Friday night.

The Federal Aviation Administration has lifted the Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR) for VIP Movement, which was previously issued for the Bedminster area ahead of Trump's visit.

Trump may not be visiting this weekend but he is still expected to come to Bedminster next weekend for a campaign fundraiser on June 13 at his golf club. The $250,000 per person event will be held outside of the golf club to adhere to social distancing rules, according to nj.com.
