Purchase Pizza and Support the Arts

Bridgewater, NJ – Now, visitors to the Bridgewater Commons Mall can calm those pizza cravings and support a good cause, all at the same time. Arts Access, a program of Matheny Medical & Educational Center in Peapack, has partnered with California Pizza Kitchen to raise funds for its artists and their work.

Arts Access enables people with developmental disabilities to create fine art, assisted by professional artist-facilitators. Since the program began more than twenty years ago, specialized systems and methodologies have been designed to give artists the ability to create everything from paintings, sculptures, and choreographed dances to plays, poetry and novels.

As Sean Wenz, General Manager of California Pizza Kitchen at Bridgewater Commons, explains, “We love being in Matheny’s neighborhood, and like any good neighbor, we want to support our fellow families and friends. I loved hearing about what you do for your families at the Arts Access Program at Matheny. It is important to us here at California Pizza Kitchen that we find great partners for our fundraising as well as programs that really help others.”

To participate in the fundraiser, the public can visit California Pizza Kitchen at Bridgewater Commons mall on September 12 and 13, 2016. Upon presenting the attached flyer, Pizza Kitchen will donate 20% of each check to the Arts Access Program. The flyer is valid all day for take-out and dine-in orders. Eligible purchases also include beverages and catering.

Those who aren’t able to visit California Pizza Kitchen on those dates can purchase a gift card. Arts Access will receive 10% of all gift cards purchased through October 1, 2016. Cards can be bought in the restaurant as well as online at https://merchant.wgiftcard.com/wlc/virtual/cpk_fundraising/207_mathenyschoolandhospital/cpk.
