Quarry Redevelopment Meeting Rescheduled

The Bernards Township Committee is looking for a larger venue for residents to continue discussion on the Quarry Redevelopment Plan.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Due to "significant public interest" and requests to move the meeting to a larger space, the Bernards Township Committee meeting scheduled for Monday is being rescheduled.

The meeting had originally been scheduled for Nov. 13, where the agenda was to include continued discussion on the Quarry Redevelopment Plan.

Many residents have requested the township committee move the meeting to Ridge PAC or William Annin Middle School to accommodate the large number of citizens interested in attending the meeting.

The meeting will discuss the process going forward on any redevelopment at the quarry. The Township Committee also plans to have experts representing the developer present to address questions which have been raised.

Members of township staff, as well as consultants the township has used at the quarry in the past will also be present.
