Residents Encouraged To Visit Bernards Twp. Library

Letter: "The Bernards Township Library encourages all residents to visit our library and use our resources!" President of Library Board.

Dear Editor:

The Bernards Township Library encourages all residents to visit our library and use our resources!

We are funded through a statutory allocation of 1/3 of a Mill of the Township’s assessed property values.

The library also receives generous funding from the non-profit Friends of the Bernards Township Library
and the Library State Aid Program.

These dollars allow the library to offer many free programs and services for children, tweens, teens, and adults. Some examples are: summer reading programs, lectures, concert series, movie nights, technology classes, and museum passes. Visit www.bernardslibrary.org and sign up for our e-Newsletters.

We recently completed a renovation of the building to add a technology center, a teen space, and a quiet
area. These upgrades resulted from patron input as part of the strategic planning process.

Your library card is free and gives you the extra benefit of being part of the Morris Automated Information
Network (MAIN) library consortium for borrowing or downloading materials.

Stop by the Friends of the Bernards Township Library booth at Charter Day on May 19 (or any day at the
Circulation Desk) to learn more about our programs and volunteer opportunities. The Trustees welcome
your comments and suggestions.
