Resident's Quick Actions Stop Burglary In Peapack And Gladstone

Residents are reminded to immediately contact the police department when they witness anything suspicious in their neighborhoods.

PEAPACK AND GLADSTONE, NJ — A resident's quick actions stopped a burglary in Peapack and Gladstone on Thursday.

On Oct. 10 at 2:42 p.m., Peapack and Gladstone Police Officers went to the area of Mosle Rd. for the report of a burglary in progress.

"Due to the quick actions of a Borough resident, who immediately contacted police, a suspect was detained and subsequently arrested," said Peapack And Gladstone Police Department.

An investigation found that the suspect was seen in other neighborhoods off Mosle Road.

Due to the nature of the incident, no specifics can be provided at this time since the matter is still under investigation, said police.
