The reigning champions from Ridge secured their spot in the JBL title game after defeating Chatham in the Final Four on March 7.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — The Ridge Youth Sports 6th Grade Girls Basketball team has advanced to the Jersey Basketball League (JBL) Championship for the second consecutive year.

The team, which holds the current JBL title, is set to face Branchburg this Saturday.

The championship game will take place at Morristown Beard at 1:30 p.m. This marks the team's second appearance in the championship game, following an undefeated season in 2025 where they secured the JBL Trophy.

The Ridge team solidified its spot in this year's championship by defeating Chatham in the Final Four on March 7. The victory ensured their return to the title contest.
