Ridge JV Ski Team Closes Out Season With Win

Ridge High School boys ski team took first place honors at Slalom and second at giant slalom NJ JV Ski Championships at Mountain Creek, NJ. On the boys side, Sean Carichch placed second individually, Brandon Mark sixth, David Hilferty 11th and Chris Campione 12th at slalom. In giant slalom, Mark placed second, Carichch eighth and Campione 9th. Brandon Mark shared "I have had a great year with the team and coaches and look forward to next year."

The girls JV ski team finished an impressive 4th place in both slalom and giant slalom with newcomers, Kylee Horner, Yui Kostsuma and Makayla Perrotti. “Being a part of the Ridge Ski Team was a great experience” Kylee Horner said. “I’m so proud of how the JV girls did this season and so happy to see JV boys win slalom State Championships"!

Head Coach Fico was thrilled with the teams accomplishments, saying “Very proud of our team”, we should all be very proud of our program.”
